This is the experiment to make an internet-democratic Song with everyone who wants to get involved.

PHASE 1: THE SAMPLES First we need the basic ingredient to any song: sounds. Send in ONE sample – anything from a clap, a bass drum, you playing the piano, your roommate snoring, reindeers, alphorns… ANYTHING. Please send rather short sounds. The weirder the sound, the more chances your sound will have to survive Phase 2. Please send the sounds (WAV / AIFF) as email attachment to dropsound@zombienation.com The deadline is New Years Eve 31st December 2009 PHASE 2: THE SOUNDS www.zombienation.com from 2 January This is where we get to vote on the sounds submitted in phase 1. Kinda like being a judge on a talent show, but without the fine selection of cheese on offer. PHASE 3: THE LOOPS www.zombienation.com from tbc This is where Zombie Nation produces some loops out of the best bits. We turn it back again to you to vote for the best loops. This is where we really separate the wheat from the chaff, and the whole thing will come to life. PHASE 4: THE ARRANGEMENT The best loops will be combined into an arrangement by Zombie Nation. A BANGER probably. We can all discuss the arrangement and you all can make proposals how to make it better. Quick polls will show how others like single ideas on improvement. PHASE 5: THE TRACK The final song will be released for free download. There will be professional artwork and anyone who contributed to the project will be fully credited.
